A new version of DGT-OmegaT 3.2 (dev) with new features for the SDLXLIFF filter is published. At same time we publish similar additions to the plugin for standard OmegaT.
Previous version already had possibility to save status to "Translated" in SDLXLIFF format, and also to display author and date in DGT-OmegaT (but not in the plugin).
Unfortunately, change of status worked only for segments which already had a status, for example, those who change from "Draft" to "Translated", but not for segments which were not already registered, for exemple if you start from a totally untranslated XLIFF file. Now it has the capacity to add a status for segments which did not have before, and it is also capable, during creation of translated SDLXLIFF, to change author and date for segments translated via OmegaT.
First, a bug has been found in the previous version of the plugin: in some documents, even if they were read correctly, an exception occured when you tried to generate the target document. Correction has been published with number 1.0.1 (stable version, update 1).
The possibility to set status for all segments and to add author and date is considered experimental, so it is published with number 1.1.0 (new version 1.1, update 0) to be considered as beta for the moment.
Please note that even with version 1.1, we don't provide exactly the same possibilities as for the version directly integrated in DGT-OmegaT, because some changes have been done in the core of the application. The plugin cannot display author and date in the editor, and when you create translated document, it will set for all segments the same date (date of creation of the document) and author (the "team author" selected inside OmegaT) while the version inside OmegaT can set for each individual segment the author and date taken from project memory.
