How our features integrate to OmegaT

Symbols in specific features page indicate how the features are integrated in OmegaT. The following tables indicates the meaning of each symbol:

Comparison with Original OmegaT

This is a new feature which has no equivalent in standard OmegaT.
This feature exists in standard OmegaT but with a different behaviour.
If you see the two symbols at same time, this means that the link refers to more than one feature in the same page, some of them are new and some are different.
This feature exists in standard OmegaT with a different behaviour. But DGT-OmegaT is configurable so you may have a smiliar behaviour as in standard OmegaT after configuration.

Possible integration to future standard OmegaT

A ticket (bug or RFE) is already present in SourceForge for this feature (exact number is given in the page itself)
Between brackets [] means that this is true for some parts of the page (they will have the icon as well)
A new ticket has been introduced in SourceForge based DGT-OmegaT. The difference with previous icon is that this ticket did not exist before, and/or that the user who made the request was inspired by our project (but not necessarily on our initiative)
A patch for standard OmegaT (hopefully recent version) is already available, but not yet integrated.
Work based on DGT-OmegaT was integrated in standard OmegaT

Visibility in the GUI

Adds a menu in the main menu
Adds options in one of the main configuration windows
Adds a menu in one of the contextual menus (usually in the editor, sometimes elsewhere)
Adds an icon in the toolbar

Integration in the code

This feature is a plugin. However, you have to read inside the page to learn whenever it is compatible with standard OmegaT or not.
This feature is integrated in the core; it adds nothing by itself but this is an entry to write new plugins.
Core plugin: this feature is actually in the core but using the plugin architecture, meaning that it could be extracted as an isolated plugin, if needed.
This feature is in the core of DGT-OmegaT but a plugin is provided for standard OmegaT as well.
This is a recent feature which is already present in the production version (3.4) of DGT-OmegaT, but may not be in older versions (2.5 to 3.3).
This is a recent feature which is not yet tested, so only present in development version (3.5 to 3.7) of DGT-OmegaT, not in stable (3.4)

Integration in the architecture

You must create a new directory, or add new files in your project, to use this feature
