DGT-OmegaT 3.2 is now in production

After around 6 months of development and 6 months of stabilization, release 3.2 of DGT-OmegaT is now officially the stable version. It replaces branch 3.1 which is now definitively obsolete.

New features, compared to 3.1

Last corrections, compared to 3.2 update 20

  • When you compile SDLXLIFF files, correctly check for Trados errors even if we don't ask to display the file
  • Extension of files in tm/ folder are case insensitive, so that .*xliff or .po can be equivalent to .XLF or .PO

New branch 3.3

This branch contains a small subpart of the 3.4 branch. Its goal is to enable early test of some features immediately, while those which are more experimental will remain in branch 3.4. Actually ported:

  • Glossaries:
    • Read TBX using a stream-based API
    • Can display tooltip in editor for glossary entry
    • Adjusted score considers sequence of punctuations as a single one (more changes about score will be experimented in branch 3.3 later)
