DGT-OmegaT 3.4 in production, and new branches

DGT-3.4 STABLE

This release is not directly derived from 3.4-TEST-6.x but only from 3.4-DEV-1.3 : only features developped in early 2019 could be tested enough to go immediately to production. This mainly includes AND-THEN search, alternate colors for adjacent matches, setting "Approved" status in SDLXLIFF, and "Next" group for pre-translate / group

It replaces now old release 3.3, and will receive only correction of bugs.

Requires either Java 8 to be run as is, or Java 9 - 17 with JAXB installed

DGT-3.5 FINAL

This release is derived from 3.4-TEST-3.4. This is a release candidate: as for 3.4-STABLE it will receive only correction of bugs, but since it contains lot of new features it requires to be tested before it can replace 3.4-STABLE definitively.

Requires either Java 8 to be run as is, or Java 9 - 17 with JAXB installed

DGT-3.6 BETA

This release is derived from 3.5-DEV-4 (features before 2021) + features developped in 2021 for branch 3.4-TEST (i.e: 3.4-TEST-4 to 3.4-TEST-6).

This is the new BETA branch, in active development: it will receive new features but always with the idea to have minimal impact on the existing code, to make easier transition to FINAL and STABLE states.

Requires either Java 8 to be run as is, or Java 9 - 17 with JAXB installed

DGT-3.7 DEV

This release is derived from 3.5-DEV-7, meaning that it contains the very last developments which were made even in 2021. This is the new DEV branch, also in active development: it willl receive new features, and contrarily to 3.6-BETA, we will always search for the most elegant or fastest solution even if there is a risk of incompatibility with previous releases.

Warning: this release, in particular, is not anymore compatible with Java 8, it requires minimally Java 9 and is designed for Java 11 (not yet fully tested with later versions). Last dependencies to JAXB have been removed, you do not need to install them - but the library which replaces it is experimental, reason why only 3.7-DEV uses it.
